Welcome to the End of Times. All has been Destroyed. All has been Abandoned. Hope has been Lost… But not for a Brave few. These few have banded together to bring Humanity back from Death, but to achieve this, they must defeat the Warring Factions that now compete for the Dominion of Earth. 

This Competition for Power is now fought deep under the Earth, under the ruined Cities, on Magic Warring Tables, designed for the Best of the Best to pit themselves against each other.

The Prize for winning this Competition… Total Control of Earth.

Apocalypse Rules

  • You can have up to 2 Players per Team.
  • Commander Rules apply.
  • In addition to its Commanders, each Team will have access to a Sergeant and Support. Both of these need to come from the Team's Command decks. One from each Player's deck.
  • Both the Sergeant and Support have their own zone from which to play.
  • The Sergeant is any Creature spell.
  • The Support is any Non-Creature spell.
  • Each Team starts with,
    • 80 life.
  • Each Team can take up to;
    • 42 Command Damage.
    • 20 Poison Damage.
  • Each Team has access to thier Teammates'
    • Mana.
    • Graveyard.
    • Battlefield.

 

  • Both Teams roll to see which Team starts first.
  • Then each Team rolls to see which Player starts first.
  • Each Player takes their turn in this sequence; 
    • Team 1 contains Players A+B,
    • Team 2 contains Players C+D,
    • The Play Order runs A,C,B,D.
  • You cannot play from your Teammate's hand.
  • Player damage is dealt to the Team, not individual Players.

 

  • When the Sergeant dies you get the choice of; 
    • 1. Restore Command Damage by up to 10. 
    • 2. Gain 20 Life.
    • 3. Restore up to 5 Poison Damage.
  • The Commander, Sergeant and Support are all subject to Commander Rules. Meaning they must be cast as normal, the Commander can still be re-cast from the Command zone, as Commander rules dictate. 
  • The Sergeant and Support can not be re-cast from, or re-enter thier respective zones.
  • When the Sergeant dies for the First Time, you may Choose one of the Abilities to activate upon its death. 
  • When the Protection dies it has no additional Abilities.

 

  • No Win Condition cards in the Starting Set-up.
  • No Tutor cards in the Starting Set-up. (No cards with the word "Search")
  • No Infinite Combos in the Starting Set-up.
